How To Tag Tutorials

  1. Log into MyRugrats State College or MyRugrats Altoona using your consignor number and password.  Once you are logged in, you should see this screen:

2. Tap Activities Menu.

3. Tap on Work With Consigned Inventory.

5. Tap Mobile Version.

6. Tap New Item.

7. Enter the Category, Size (use "Leave Blank" if there is no size, not a 0), Description (blue unicorn shirt, Gymboree jeans, or Red wagon are all good descriptions), Price, and Quantity (number of items that fit the exact information entered- this is usually 1).  If you would like your items to be half price for the half price sale, check the Discount box.  If you'd prefer us to donate the items after the sale rather than picking them up, check the Donate box.  The click Submit.
Do this for each item until you have entered all items.

8. When you are all finished entering items, tap Return to Inventory Menu.

9. Scroll down to Print Tags.

10. Tap Print All Tags (PDF).
11.  Tap Display Tags For Printing.  This will open a PDF that can be sent to your wireless printer.  Make sure that your white or light colored cardstock is loaded into the printer before printing.

Click on the appropriate LOGIN button at the top of the Home Page.

You’ll be directed to the following page.  Enter the Consignor Number you were assigned and the password you created at registration.

You will be taken to the Consignor Homepage.  The “Consignor Homepage” is your main page from which you can perform many tasks:

1.  Un-Register For Our Upcoming Sale:
  Should something come up and you are unable to participate in the sale after all, simply click on this link and your spot will be opened up for someone else to take.
**Register For Our Upcoming Sale:  If you are not registered for the current sale, this link will read “Register For Our Upcoming Sale.”  Once you have an account with Just Kids Resale, you can register for future sales by logging into your account and clicking on this link.

2.  Update My Account Information:  Edit your contact information through this link.  ​
3.  Select a Drop-off Appointment:  Every consignor must sign up for a drop-off appointment before the sale.  When you click on this link, you will see a screen similar to this: ​​

** Signing up for a drop-off appointment is as easy as clicking on the “Sign Up” button next to the time you wish to bring your items to the event hall. 
**Should you need to change your appointment, simply click on the “Cancel Appt” button next to the shift you are currently signed up for (top of the screen) and select your new option below.

4.  Sign up To Work:  To sign up for any of our work shifts, click on the “Worker Shifts” link from the Consignor Homepage.  You will see a page similar to this:
**Signing up to work is as easy as clicking on the “Sign Up” button next to the shift(s) you wish to work.  
**Should you need to leave your shift for any reason or change to another, simply click on the “Leave” button next to the appropriate shift (top of the screen) and, if desired, select your new option below.

5. Work With Consigned Inventory:  Click on this link to begin working with your items.  You will see the following page.

**To begin creating tags for your items, click on the “Active Inventory” link.  
You will be able to enter inventory using:
  1. The keyboard on your computer (PC/Laptop Version)
  2. Your phone (Mobile Version) or
  3. By Voice on either type of device.  Instructions for using the Voice Entry method is located within the software once you click on that option.

From here, just begin filling in the information pertaining to each of your items.  Please be sure to select the correct category (boys clothing, shoes, toys, baby equipment, etc.).  Whether or not a customer is required to pay PA state taxes is determined by the category selected.  You can select from the drop down list or just begin typing and suggestions will pop up.  

Where applicable, enter the size of the item being sold.   Numeric sizes should be used for all items.  

There are two description lines available for you to provide information on your item.  While not a requirement, you are encouraged to be as descriptive as possible.  This helps out a lot should your tag somehow become separated from your item during the sale and we have to try to reattach it.   IE: “Children’s Place Blue White Yellow Dress w/flowers” would be easier to locate than “Blue Dress.”

Enter a price in $.50 increments.  

The Qty field is automatically set to 1.  The only time you would change this is if you have multiples of the same item.  For example, should you have 4 pairs of jeans, of the same size that you want to sell, instead of having to fill in the same information 4 separate times, you need just enter it once and change the quantity to 4.  When your tags are printed, four separate tags will be printed, all with different inventory numbers.

If you are willing to discount your item to 50% on Sunday, please click the “Item Can Be DISCOUNTED” box.  Please note:  For various reasons, items tend to sell better if they are eligible to be discounted on Discount Day.  Consider asking a little more than you normally would to begin with, but allow your item to be discounted on Sunday.  You may just find that it sells at the higher price and you’ve made out better in the long run.

If you have items you do not wish to have returned to you should they not sell, click the “Item Can Be DONATED” box and they will be donated to Just Kids Resale’s charity of choice upon the event’s conclusion.

NOTE! – Once you select the “Item Can Be DISCOUNTED” or “Item Can Be DONATED” boxes, they remain in that state until you change them again.  If you do not want your subsequent item(s) to have the same designations, you will need to change them back.

PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING:

  • You must use card stock paper (the thicker paper that one would use if they were making homemade greeting cards) for your tags, as regular computer paper will not hold up to the vigorous shopping experienced.  If your tags get separated from your items, we cannot sell them.
 
  • Please be sure that you print your tags in NORMAL mode.  If the barcodes on your tags are not dark enough or are too fuzzy, our scanners may not read them at checkout and will slow the process down as they will have to be hand entered.
  • ALL clothing must be on hangers and should be hung so that the top of the hanger looks like a ? when looking at the front of the garment.  (opening to the left)

  • Because of our tremendous growth and limited space, participation in our sales is restricted to seasonal items only.  This means:
SPRING / SUMMER ONLY ITEMS:  Shorts, sleeveless or spaghetti strap dresses, sandals, flip flops, swim shoes, swimsuits, sand boxes, pools…basically anything that would be deemed warmer weather appropriate only.  Think “Is this something I would wear/use during the season we are moving INTO?”

FALL /  WINTER ONLY ITEMS:  Winter coats, snow boots, snowsuits/bibs, sleds, winter hats/gloves, any of the heavier, lined pants/jeans...basically, anything that would be deemed colder weather appropriate only.  Think “Is this something I would wear/use during the season we are moving INTO?”


ACCEPTED AT ALL SALES:  All jeans and pants (unless the heavier, fleece lined), short-sleeved shirts, wind breakers, indoor/outdoor climbing/play toys, bikes, slides, boys white undershirts
***Exceptions:  
  • Little girls’ holiday/Christmas dresses that are short sleeved WILL be allowed at our fall events
  • Little girls’ miniskirts will be allowed at our fall events, but are expected to be paired with sweaters of some sort or leggings to make it a cooler weather "outfit".
