Worker Agreement

**Please read carefully before agreeing to register!**

  • I hereby release and discharge Annette Thompson, the lessee of the space where the sale is held, workers and other associated personnel, including the owners of the facility in which the sale is located against any claim by or on my behalf as a result of my participation in the Rugrats Resale event.
  • I hereby release and discharge Annette Thompson, the lessee of the space where the sale is held, the insurer of Rugrats Resale and all affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury, property damage, theft and/or loss of any items associated with my participation in the Rugrats Resale event from whatever cause either foreseen or unforeseen.
  • I agree to arrive for my scheduled shift(s) 10 minutes in advance in order to allow for a smooth transition from one shift to another and to receive any instructions that may be necessary concerning my responsibilities.
  • I agree to update Rugrats Resale's online system should I need to change or vacate my shift(s) for any reason and that my selections are final as of 9:00am two days before Presale day.
  • I agree that failure to notify Rugrats Resale of my inability to fulfill a work obligation or to show up for one of my scheduled shifts, without finding a suitable replacement, will constitute a breach of contract and will result in one of the following actions:
    • If I am a consignor:  My proceeds check will reflect a 5% reduction in earnings for each shift that was missed, starting at the 70% earnings level, regardless of the number or type of shifts I had signed up for.
    • If I am not a consignor:  I will be prohibited from working at any Rugrats Resale event for a period of one (1) year.
  • For those workers that are consigning as well, I agree to the following distribution of sale proceeds:
    • Consignors working one (1)or two (2) shifts receive 70% of their earnings.
    • Consignors working three (3) shifts, ONE of which IS the SORT SHIFT, receive 75% of their earnings and a refunded registration fee, which is added into their proceeds check at the end of the sale.
    • Consignors working four (4) or more shifts, ONE of which IS the SORT SHIFT, receive 80% of their earnings and a refunded registration fee, which is added into their proceeds check at the end of the sale.  
    • Consignors working three (3) or more shifts, NONE of which are the SORT SHIFT, receive 70% of  their earnings and a refunded registration fee, which is added into their proceeds check at the end of the sale.
  • I agree to the following breakdown of Presale Shopping hours, based on shifts worked
    • Workers signed up for 1 shift begin shopping at 1pm on Presale day.
    • Workers signed up for 2 shifts begin shopping at 1:30pm on Presale day.
    • Workers signed up for 3 shifts begin shopping at 2pm on Presale day.
    • Workers signed up for 4 shifts begin shopping at 2:30pm on Presale day.
  • I agree to not to set up in business as a direct competitor of Rugrats Resale within a 50 mile radius, for a period of 24 months or 2 years from my last participation in any way.
  • I agree that my electronic acceptance of this Workers Agreement is as binding as any written signature and acknowledge that the date and time of my acceptance is documented within Rugrats Resale’s software.
*I agree to have a GREAT time at the sale and to truly enjoy adult conversation, time away from the hustle and bustle of home and the rush that comes from finding fantastic deals on great items!
